The Deputy Provincial Grand Master, John P. Clendinning, joined the brethren of the St Nicholas Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners 540 in Ilfracombe recently to preside at their installation meeting.

The ceremony was undertaken by the installing Commander, Worshipful Brother Phil Sanders, who installed his successor, Worshipful Brother Roy Almond in an excellent manner.  Worshipful Brother Roy then went on to appoint and invest his officers.

Following the meeting, the brethren retired to the refectory for a wonderful festive board with the warm and lively atmosphere that is common amongst the Royal Ark Mariners.
