Members of the Devon Mark Support Team (DMST) from across the province joined the PGM and APGM in Ashburton for a strategy meeting. 

The meeting was to discuss a number of key areas affecting the province and to gain ideas for the future progression of the order. Key areas that were discussed, amongst other topics, were:

• Current membership across both the degrees of Mark Masonry and the Royal Ark Mariners
• Ideas for future recruitment and retention of members
• Working alongside the other Orders
• Support for lodges who are struggling to remain open due to low attendence/membership
• The travelling Ark and travelling Keystone to encourage visiting 
• The presentation of the Magic of the Mark Degree in each area to prospective candidates
• Lodge Music
• Ideas for new lodges & Themed Lodges
• Promotion of the Orders using social events (both Provincial and Local)

Every Lodge, whether it be Mark Master Masons or Royal Ark Mariners, has a contact point for the DMST. Secretaries and DC's will be approached and reminded that if they are requiring any help or support for future meetings, whether this be the attendance of additional officers for ceremonies or providing lectures to the lodge, then the DMST team can be contacted at the earliest opportunity, and will endeavour to assist that lodge wherever possible.
