Last night saw Bro. Mark Ormrod MBE talk about his story, his journey from a young Royal Marine, sustaining life changing injuries whilst on duty, his recovery and his drive to be the best he can, to being an Invictus athlete, ambassador for the Royal Marine Charity, motivational speaker and freemason as well as husband and father.

One hundred and twenty three brethren of all marks and distinctions joined us on the 17th November to hear Mark tell his roller coaster story in a very engaging and inspiring fashion. The evening was introduced by the Provincial Grand Master who handed over the proceedings to W.Bro. Martin Lambert-Gorwen as MC.

The evening was a huge success and in the closing remarks R.W.Bro. Peter Balsom thanked Mark for his time and for providing such an inspirational and thought provoking talk, he also was delighted to acknowledge the support these talks have had from the Craft and Holy Royal Arch members who are not yet members of the Mark Degree.  Another splendid evening of 'keeping the light of Masonry bright in Devonshire!'
